Tammy grew up in the Kootenays, specifically the Nelson and Castlegar areas. She worked for the provincial government in property management for 18 years and received her BOMI diploma (Building Owners and Manager’s Institute). She knows how important it is to put clients first. She had to desire to become her own boss and having flexible work hours to do this was important to her. She made the decision 12 years ago to become a real estate agent and has never looked back.
Tammy has always had a passion for animals. She and her husband, Larry live on a small acreage between Nelson and Castlegar. They have 2 dogs and 3 horses. You can see Tammy at the local horse shows competing in Dressage, participating in clinics or trail riding throughout the beautiful Kootenay areas.
She has also discovered Crossfit and loves the challenge of bettering herself mentally and physically. Tammy is an avid gardener and loves to grow her own food. She has recently participated in an 8 month herbal intensive program, using herbs for health. It is important to her that her family and friends be as healthy as possible. She loves being a “Nana” to her grandchildren and creating wonderful memories.
Tammy knows how to prioritize her work and create a good balance. Her clients are the most important aspect of her work. She knows that real estate is one of largest purchases of a lifetime, and gaining their trust and exciting them to enjoy the process is top priority.
